J's First Halloween!

Well, I'm a horse, of course :) We didn't go Trick-or-Treating, but we went to Mima and Papa's house and saw all of the kiddos dressed up. Jack wasn't feeling great, since he had a cold and ear infection, but he did his best.

I was very tired by the end of the night. I actually fell asleep on Grandpa's shoulders.

Jack's 7 1/2 Months!

It was a great opportunity to see old friends!

Here's Jack with his cousing Silas. Grandpa and Grandma love to give them matching outfits. Jack's is always a size or 2 bigger of course :) They are 2 months apart.

Jack: You're almost there, now just shove it in and start chewing!

Time to Eat

Hi everyone! The little one has started eating cereal in his highchair. He's getting big so fast. He's our little eater. It doesn't matter what's on the menu, he'll eat it. :) Here are some pictures from his first feeding.

4th of July in Big Bear

We went to Big Bear to celebrate Independence Day! It was our first vacation as a new family. Jack was surrounded by family and friends. We stayed with his Grandma Robin, Aunt Renee, and Uncle Matt. We also caught up with our friends Jason, Kelly and Ryan!

We took many walks. Jack enjoyed going down by the lake.

Jack woke up for the fireworks. He was a bit tired, but was compelled to watch the show, with bright eyes. :) It was adorable!

Universal Studios

In June we went to Universal Studios! We weren't sure how the little one would do, but we had a great time! Jack was a hit in his Shrek ears. When he met Fiona, he took her hand and didn't want to let go :) He's already a hit with the ladies.

One last stop at the Kwik-E-Mart! We had to take turns watching J.T. while the other went on the new Simpsons ride, but it was worth it.
